Are You Active? If you are an active elderly person? If you are, then you are very fortunate. As we age, our bodies tend to break down and we may feel like we are at the active level as we used to be. So, if you are a hiker, bicyclist, or jogger, you should definitely count your blessings because not everyone in their 50s, 60s, or 70s are able to perform these tasks. It is difficult for those of us who are young to think about our bodies not being able to handle the rigorous workouts that we put them through. This is not meant to discourage young people from exercising, because if you do have a good healthy exercise routine and diet your body will age much better than if you are unhealthy. This, however, does not mean that you will not experience difficulties as your body ages; it’s a part of life.
